Why are you going to wait?

“You changed the trajectory of my life.”

That’s what a client told me last week!

Seven months ago, he was building a successful business…while quietly losing his health, his energy, and connection at home.

Always working. Always hustling.

Always telling himself he’d get to it “later.”

Now?

He’s down 30 pounds.

He’s consistently working out.

He’s meeting one-on-one with his team.

He's having family dinners on Sunday nights.

Same man.

Different trajectory.

Toward the end of the call, he asked, “Do you remember our first conversation?”

I laughed and said, “Honestly, I don’t.”

He said, “I told you everything that was going on…and you said, ‘Let’s start coaching.’ And I said, ‘I think I’ll wait.’”

Then he reminded me what happened next.

I asked him one question…

Why are you going to wait?

“Your health is only going to get worse. Your relationships are only going to get worse. If nothing changes, nothing changes.”

He paused and said, “That’s what got me.”

Not a new strategy.

Not a better plan.

A question.

Because the truth is…he wasn’t stuck.

He was drifting.

And drift doesn’t correct itself.

It compounds.

Here’s what I’ve learned coaching leaders…

Drift is automatic.

Growth is intentional.

Most leaders don’t need more information…they need a moment of honest confrontation.

So let me ask you…

What are you putting off right now?

Your health…

Your marriage…

Your leadership…

Why are you going to wait?

Because if nothing changes…nothing changes.

And the longer you wait, the harder it becomes to turn the ship.

Maybe today is the day you stop drifting…

and start leading where it matters most.

What's next?
