As a business leader, how are you with patience?

The following are lessons learned from getting on a big podcast and maybe it will help you with whatever you are going through right now.

How are you with patience?
How are you with God’s timing?

Truth be told….I am not that good.

I want to win.
I want to grow my business.
I want to impact people.
I want to make more money.

The list goes on.

So in the pursuit of growing my business, I have dreams to pursue and actions to take – but I also have to be patient.

Last October (almost a year ago to the date!) I sent Brian Tome an email saying that my testimony and platform would be great for his podcast ‘The Aggressive Life’.

He sent a great email back saying no, he had lots of guests lined up, but encouraging me to keep it up.

A fantastic rejection email.

Sure I was disappointed.

I could have been mad at Brian or God for it not happening. Thinking it was the silver bullet to success.

Instead, I kept plugging away trusting God has a plan and focused on other ways to grow the business.

Fast forward to this week and I am on Brian’s podcast ‘The Aggressive Life’!! 💪

We had a great time, fun conversation, even get emotional at the end sharing a story I have never shared on a podcast before. 😢

The point is – we control the input, God controls the impact.

You may not be getting the impact you want in your business, bank account, marriage or overall life – but don’t focus on the impact.

Instead focus on the inputs. What we control.

What daily steps are you taking to improve your business, bank account, marriage, and overall life?

As for God’s timing on this podcast. This podcast must have been needed more in 2020 than in 2019.

COVID, quarantine, election stress and so much more has brought toxicity into our lives.

Whether it be at work or at home.
Our relationships, marriages, or parenting.

Give this episode a listen and maybe it will help you have breakthrough in your life.

Wherever you are in your journey – continue to be patient, yield to God’s timing, and do your part to excel at your daily inputs.

Thanks Brian Tome and Crossroads Church for having me on the podcast.

Very grateful for the impact you have had in my life via your teaching, books, etc.
